Melissa Suzanna Mcbride has been cast as Carol. Melissa was in Frank Darabont's The Mist.

No news has been released on who will be playing Carols daughter Sophia yet.

Also Jeryl Prescott who tends to just have small parts has been cast as a new character called Jacqui.
